     I've been welding with my dad Larrie Thomas since the 70's. Dad started Certified Welding in 1977 and has been verry successful. He has welded for many notable companys, including the Water District, Hoover Dam, and Tiberti construction. He has many times impressed me as the best welder in town and has proved it. He beat several hundred welders in a torch contest at a welding show and won an expensive torch. He is an expert at pipe, heavy equipment, and heliarch welding. There are countless projects that he has done and worked on.

     I must also mention my uncle Bill, dad's brother. He has taught me much about welding. I have seen my uncle make anything, fix anything (out and nothing)and never be afraid of anything. The big companys in town call my Dad or my Uncle when nobody else could do it. My brother Devin got the bug from uncle Bill to make knives.

     My brother Devin has become one of the best damascus steel experts in the world.(not to mention how good of a welder he is) He started when he was 16. He learned the first few tricks from uncle Bill and then learned from books and from other professionals. One summer in AZ after learning from and working with Bob Lofgreen he came home with some stunning daggers and swords. He was a professional at age 18! It took years to get recognized as one of the best though. He really took off when he perfected Stainless Steel Damascus. Later he invented patterns never seen before. In a recent magazine article, Devin was given credit for 4 out of the 12 most common damascus patterns.

     I have told you all about my family's experience to show the kind of talent I have learned from. I have a great deal of experience in pipe, heavy equipment, fabrication, heli arch, etc. I started my own business in 1997 and have done basically the same work and customers as before 1997 when I worked for Dad.
